SWIMMING | Five-time Olympic gold medalist, 14-time World champion, WSF Sportswoman of the Year

Sports are so empowering for girls and women.  They allow us to challenge ourselves and achieve our goals.  Goal-setting is such a powerful tool for growth.  When you set a goal, you work tirelessly to achieve it.  You push through tough practices, and build strength and confidence, and at the same time you have fun.  You gain the support of your teammates, and you support them, as all of you reach for your goals.  Swimming has been about that and much more for me… I proudly stand alongside those who continue fighting for equal opportunity so that one day every girl has access to sports!
