“Joining StreetSquash allowed me to learn a new sport and improve my academics. It also helped me to prepare for college and grow as a leader. I’m so lucky that playing a sport afforded me with so many opportunities; ones that are often impossible for students from low-income neighborhoods, let alone students of color.
I carried my love of squash onto the courts of Franklin & Marshall where I played on the varsity team for four years. Sports opened doors for me and that’s why it is so important to expand opportunities for all girls and women.”
